Live Your Dream Award for Women

Soroptimist International of Manassas is accepting application for our "Live Your Dream Award".  We will award $2,500 to a woman who is studying for an undergraduate degree or enrolled in a skilled jobs training program.  Deadline for the online application is November 15, 2018.  To apply online: click on the "Live Your Dream" logo on the left side of the screen.

Local Restaurants Donate Back

Jukebox Diner, Foster's Grille and the Bone will donate a percentage of their sales back to our Soroptimist Club. 

Jukebox Diner's fundraiser will run from August 23rd to November 22nd. Drop your receipts in the Soroptimist Box at the hostess station and we receive at least 10%. Jukebox Diner is located in the Canterbury Square Shopping Center, 8637 Sudley Road, Manassas.  

Soroptimist Annual Picnic

Soroptimist family and friends gathered at Laura Bassam's home for a day of good food, fellowship, swimming and games. Over 40 people attended, including Soroptimist South Atlantic Region President Debbie Mackes, Soroptimist SAR Treasurer Cheryl Walter, Live Your Dream winner Ana Vasquez-Velez and Violet Richardson winner Samantha Boateng.
